PURPOSE: To produce a product while suppressing the generation of a deficient product by constituting a mold of a plurality of molds and forming at least one mold of them so that the surface of a metal part is covered with rubber. CONSTITUTION: When a membrane like rubber product with a wall thickness of 3mm or less and a length of 500mm or more is molded by a mold and the mold is constituted of an upper mold, a core mold and a lower mold, for example, the surface of the metal part of the core mold 12 is covered with a rubber layer with a thickness of 5mm or more. An unvulcanized rubber sheet having irregularity in its wall thickness is bonded to the core mold 12 and the core mold 12 is set to the upper and lower molds and, when the unvulcanized rubber sheet is pressed under press surface pressure of 30kg/cm<2> , the heat expansion of the rubber l2b on the surface of the core mold 12 is added other than the heat expansion of the unvulcanized rubber sheet and the total thickiness of the rubber sheet and the rubber 12b on the surface of the core mold 12 at the time of molding becomes large and the gap of the thin part of the unvulcanized rubber sheet is filled with rubber to prevent the generation of foaming, surface pair or dimensional defficiency. |
