PURPOSE: To enhance the light fastness or weatherability of the dye image formed on printing paper by a sublimation type thermal transfer recording method, in printing paper consisting of a sheet like base material and a dye receiving layer, by adding a polymer having a diallyl carbonate unit to the dye receiving layer. CONSTITUTION: In printing paper 1 consisting of a sheet like base material 2 and a dye receiving layer 3, a polymer having a diallyl carbonate unit is added to the dye receiving layer 3. The diallyl carbonate unit is selected from allyl diglycol carbonate, allyl triglycol carbonate and allyl tetraethylene glycol carbonate. The diallyl carbonate unit is added to the dye receiving layer in an amt. of 1-20wt.%. An ester compd. or a urethane compd. is added to the dye receiving layer as a compd. enhancing dyeing properties. |
