<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an engine-driven heat pump apparatus whose outdoor unit is compact while the capacity of an accumulator is ensured and pipe connection work is simple. CONSTITUTION: In an engine-driven heat pump apparatus, a heat exchange room is arranged at the upper part and a pipe room 10 and an engine room at the lower part. An engine 5 and a compressor 6 are contained in the engine room, and the pipe room 10 is arranged behind the engine room with a partition wall between them. An accumulator 8 and an oil separator 19a are laid parallel lengthwise in the pipe room 10 and the oil separator 19a has dimensions smaller than the accumulator 8. In addition, the rear sidewall of the pipe room 10 is removable. Assuming a virtual partition wall 650 that passes through the accumulator 8 and divides the pipe room 10 into two sections lengthwise, two external joint ends of a refrigerant pipeline and a joint part having an on-off valve are arrayed on the rear external wall side against the virtual partition wall 650, an the oil separator 19a on the engine room 7 side.</p> |
