PURPOSE: To permit the maintenance and inspection of a ceiling-embedded type rotary total heat exchanger ventilating unit, having comparatively large air volume, through an inspection port at one place on the side surface of a body. CONSTITUTION: The rotary shaft of a rotary type heat exchanger 1 is inclined from the vertical direction and air supplying fan 6 and a ventilating fan 9 are arranged in the spaces of both sides of the rotary heat exchanger 1, which are widened in a casing 3 by the inclination of the rotary shaft, in such positions that one part of respective fans 6, 9 and the rotary heat exchanger 1 are superposed when they are seen from the upper side thereof. According to this method, when maintenance and inspection are effected after installing the heat exchanger in a ceiling, one can reach all instruments in the casing through the inspection port of one place on one side of a body of the heat exchanger whereby inspection can be effected and a time necessary for the inspection can be shortened. |
