COMPLEX FOOD RAW MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain a complex food raw material, uniformly mixing and combining polysaccharides with sugars without impairing respective characteristics, not requiring mixing on user side and excellent in keeping quality and provide a method for producing the raw material. CONSTITUTION: This complex food raw material comprises polysaccharides (e.g. starch grain B) coated with a sugar A. The complex food raw material is produced by adding and mixing polysaccharides to and with a solution or suspension of the sugars and spraying and drying the mixture. One or two or more food raw materials selected from starch, modified starch and thickened polysaccharides are preferably used as the polysaccharides and one or two or more food raw materials selected from monosaccharides, oligosaccharides and dextrin are preferably used as the sugars.
