PURPOSE: To prolong the life of a fluorescent lamp by dividing a plurality of fluorescent lamps for illumination in a car into two groups, and putting out one group of the fluorescent lamps set by the stop condition of an elevator, whether the elevator is elevated and stopped, or it is brought down and stopped. CONSTITUTION: When a car stops after ascent operation, a contact 1 is closed and a timer T1 is energized, a contact (t1 ) is opened after the lapse of a set time, and hence a first group of fluorescent lamps L1 are put out. Thereafter, when the car is in the running and running preparation state, the contact (t1 ) is closed, and the first group of fluorescent lamps L1 is lighted. Meanwhile, when the car is stopped after descent operation, by close of a contact 5, a timer T2 is energized, a contact (t2 ) is opened after a prescribed time, and a second group of fluorescent lamps L2 are put out. When the car is in the running and running preparation state, the contact (t2 ) is closed, and the second group of fluorescent lamps L2 are lighted. |
