PURPOSE: To continuously convey a sheet having a variety of sizes with the min. paper sheet interval, and carry out the skew correction (registration) for the sheet. CONSTITUTION: A sheet conveying device is constituted of a registration means 1 which carries out the image formation in a sheet conveying passage 55 or the skew correction for a sheet S which is arranged in the upstream of an image reading-out part 53, at least a pair of sheet conveying rollers 2 which are arranged in the upstream of the registration means 1, and the registration means 1 is equipped with at least two pairs of register rollers 1 in the nearly perpendicular direction to the sheet traveling direction, keeping a prescribed interval on the axis line, and each pair of register rollers 1 are driven independently, and the positions of each pair of sheet conveying rollers 2 are made shiftable. |
