PURPOSE: To prevent a hood surface from being damaged by a lid to be opened. CONSTITUTION: When an opening part 13 where a hood air bag 14 is stored is opened by a lid 18 pressed by a hood air bag 14 which is provided with an energy absorbing mechanism on a hinge 19 of a lid 18 to be releasably covered and inflated, the impact energy of the lid striking on a hood 12 is mitigated to prevent the hood surface from being damaged by absorbing a part of the kinetic energy to be received from the hood air bag 14.
