<p>PURPOSE: To provide a sheet material carrying device in which jam treatment can easily be conducted. CONSTITUTION: Loaded sheet materials are one by one separated and carried, and a TOP sensor 3 and a paper discharge sensor 6 which are detecting means detecting the sheet material at least on different positions are provided in the carrying route of the sheet material. Further a reset switch 20 and a door opening/closing detecting switch 21 are provided, which are returning means removing stagnant sheet material so as to return when the sheet materials stagnate in the carrying route. The stagnant position of the sheet material is detected by the TOP sensor 3 and the paper discharge sensor 6, and the reset switch 20 and the door opening/closing detecting switch 21 are selectively used according to the stagnant position.</p> |
