<p>PURPOSE: To treat waste water containing dialkylformamide, monoalkylformamide, formamide, monoalkylamine, dialkylamine trialkylamine, tetraalkylammonium or the like or a mixture thereof. CONSTITUTION: Waste water containing an organonitrogen compd. is treated by the contact with an immobilized bio-catalyst prepared by adsorbing bacteria on activated carbon or cellulose. Waste water containing an organonitrogen compd. difficult to treat among industrial waste waters is brought into contact with an immobilized bio-catalyst prepared by adsorbing bacteria belonging to the genus Arthrobacter on activated carbon or cellulose. By this method, the concn. of bacteria in a decomposition treatment tank can be markedly enhanced and the organonitrogen compd. can be efficiently and stably decomposed.</p> |
