PURPOSE: To provide a constant velocity universal joint for high-speed drive such as an automotive propeller shaft, having an outer joint member and an inner joint member held relative to one another in an optimum way so that they rotate centrally relative to one another at any angle occurring in operation. CONSTITUTION: A constant velocity universal joint provided in the form of a so-called quadripode joint consisting of an outer joint member 1 and an inner joint member 2 is supported by centering a cross member associated with the inner joint member 2 by means of the arm 5 thereof against respective stops in the other joint member.
