PURPOSE: To carry out powerful bleaching without deteriorating keratin fiber by proving an orifice as an exit of laser beam in the surface of a socket for hair cluster in a treating apparatus and irradiating the hair with laser beam with a specific energy density emitted in the form of pulse. CONSTITUTION: A conduit 3 for laser beam appears externally on the bottom portion of groove 2 after being reflected sharply by a mirror 4, and forms an exit window in the surface of the wall of groove 2. A common member 5 can move around an axis 6 to maintain the state of engaging tightly with a socket by a tensile spring, and the engagement is released by the action of a lever 7 at the end portion. For bleaching hair, the engagement of the member 5 is released, then engaged again in the groove 2 after the cluster of hair being placed. A laser emitter is actuated and the apparatus is moved to the cluster of hair thus performing bleaching. Here, the operation is carried out by employing a laser beam with a sufficient output that the energy density per pulse is 0.1 to 1.2 J/cm. |
