<p>PURPOSE: To provide an exhaust gas suction duct which is not necessarily provided with a machine, etc., for removing dusts and in which dusts are scarcely deposited by eliminating an operator's dust removing operation without deteriorating an operating environment. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas suction duct A installed on an electric furnace cover 2 is inclined at 45-60 degrees above to the horizontal direction as seen from the flow of exhaust gas, and an exhaust gas suction duct B of out of a system installing side connected thereto is inclined down at 45-60 degrees to the horizontal direction as seen from the flow of the exhaust gas. Thus, even if the dust is sedimented at the lower surface of the exhaust gas suction duct, the dust is retained at the place, and dropped along the inclination of the duct without depositing. Thus, a manual dust removing operation is eliminated, and a special machine for exhausting the dust is not necessarily installed.</p> |
