PURPOSE: To prevent busy shift as well as to accurately judge the request of deceleration of a driver by smoothly and continuously shifting control to downhill road control from uphill road control or downhill control without normal control in the road condition; a downhill road from a level road from an uphill road, or a downhill road.from a level road from a downhill road. CONSTITUTION: The delay time to be set in the restoration of uphill road control or the restoration of downhill control is reset and counted again when the brake is depressed, thereby it is lengthened according to the request of deceleration of a driver. Thereby, the judgement of the downhill road can be performed in the lengthened delay time, and control can be directly shifted to downhill control without once shifting (upshifting) to normal control. |
