PURPOSE: To obtain the subject sheet effecting little discoloration even after a long lapse of time of being exposed to cobalt 60-γ-rays, having a softening point with no problem in its molding, thus suitable as a packaging material for medical equipment etc. CONSTITUTION: This radiation-resistant polyvinyl chloride sheet has a composition comprising 100 pts.wt. of polyvinyl chloride, (a) pts.wt. of an organotin- based stabilizer and (b) pts.wt. of an epoxidized vegetable oil, satisfying the relationships:1<=(a)<=3, 3<=(b)<=8 and (2a+1.5b)<=14, and having a Clash-Berg temperature of >=50 deg.C. |
