<p>Provided are clear, perfume-containing, thickened aqueous compositions comprising: (a) an aqueous hydrogel comprising from about 0.1 % to about 10 %, by weight, hydrogel forming polymeric gelling agent, calculated on dry polymeric gelling agent weight basis; (b) from about 0.1 % to about 15 %, by weight, nonionic surfactant; (c) from about 0.05 % to about 5 %, by weight, water-insoluble perfume; and (d) from about 50 % to about 99.75 %, by weight, water; wherein said composition has a viscosity at 25 °C of at least about 4,000 centipoise; and contains a sufficient amount of said nonionic surfactant to provide said perfume in solubilized form, whereby said composition is clear.</p> |
