Roller=skate or ice=skate for use also as walking shoe

The shoe combines the function of a shoe or boot, with that of a roller-skate or ice-skate. The under surface of the shoe is designed for walking, and can have rollers (7) or blade sections fixed to it to enable locomotion by skating. The shoe has a track mechanism, on which the rollers or blade sections can be slid from their operating positions below the sole, to storage positions in the heel or calf area (5). Alternatively, they can be removed and stored using a push/pull mechanism (8). The rollers or blade sections may also be stored above the instep, and may be arranged behind or beside one another.
