The object of the invention is to provide a turbocharger mounting that increases the operating reliability of turbochargers, compensates for thermal expansion and permits a variety mounting arrangements. To this end, at least one central, positive-locking connecting element 8 is arranged on a mounting foot 5, which also comprises at least two outer supporting elements 9, which are designed to provide positive-locking in a direction offset by 90 DEG to that of the connecting element 8. The turbocharger casing 1 has positive-locking counterparts 10, 15 corresponding to the connecting element 8 and to the supporting elements 9. The foot 5, may be secured to the turbocharger casing 1 by screws which pass through holes 12, in the foot and engage threaded holes (13) (Figure 3) in the casing 1. Further screws may be inserted through bores 19, to secure the foot to the engine.
