The table has a table top and at least one pair of criss-crossing supports designed as angle levers (13,14) having a long arm and a short arm at right angles to it. One angle lever (13) is fixed by its short arm in a swivel bearing (18) lying at the front in the travel direction on the part (10) fixed on the vehicle and by its long arm in a rear swivel bearing (15) on the table top (12). The other angle lever (14) is fixed by its long arm in a rear swivel bearing (17) on the part fixed on the vehicle and by its short arm in a front swivel bearing (16) on the table top. The part fixed on the vehicle is attached to or formed by the vehicle floor.
