A process for producing a compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein R, R<3> and R<4> represent each hydrogen or alkyl), which comprises reacting a compound represented by general formula (II), (wherein R<1> represents alkyl or phenyl each of which may be substituted; and R is as defined above) with a compound represented by the general formula (III): HNR<3>R<4> (wherein R<3> and R<4> are each as defined above), optionally followed by alkylation; and an intermediate for use in the above process.
