The electrical signalling light system is intended for use in applications such as construction areas or at the scene of an accident. The system can employ a number of light units (11) that are mounted on a rail (20) that has a connection to a power supply via a synchronisation unit (21). Each of the lighting modules has a back panel with a built in connector that engages the contacts of a coupling to the supply rail. Each module has a large lighting element.
