A process for prodn. of clock faces, esp. from plastic involves:(i) clamping a carrier material (1), from which clock faces have already been cut, in a moulding tool (8,9) such that the cut-out areas (7) are sealed to form moulding cavities for new clock faces; (ii) injecting material into the sealed cavity and cooling; (iii) opening the tool (8,9) to allow the carrier (1) to move to further processing stages. Claimed process equipment features a two part (8,9) moulding tool between which the carrier (1) is clamped. The dies (8,9) move towards each other to form a closed tool which seals the cut-out area (7) in the carrier (1). One die (8,9) has a sealable nozzle fed by a channel (11) for the injectable material (10). Appts. for carrying out the above process is also claimed.
