Mechanism for cutting lead roofing strip from roll

The mechanism parts off and trims the strips from a roll (3) of lead sheet. At one end (2) of the baseplate (1) are bearings for the roll, while at the middle is a guide bar (13) with pivot joint (12) for the knife (25). A guide (15) at the other end (11) accommodates a stop (16) movable in the longitudinal direction and lockable in position. The roll can be accommodated between two opposite brackets (6,7) on the baseplate, each equipped with a rotary bearing (4,5). The knife guide bar can be set in positions at right angles or inclined to the longitudinal direction of the lead sheet.
