Low-loss generation of DC and AC voltages e.g. for telephone subscriber connections

The transformer (TR), the switches (S1, S2) and the control unit (ST) are shown in the figures. On the secondary side there are a current measuring unit (M1) and a voltage measuring unit (MU) and the outputs of these two units go to a switchable comparator (KOM) which receives the required values (U,R, U1, U,I) for comparison with a measured value (U2, i2). The result is passed to the control emit.
