Combined electronic components with resonator and capacitor elements e.g. for Colpitts oscillator

The component has a resonator element (1) with a thin piezoelectric substrate with front and back main surfaces and first and second opposing side surfaces. This element (1) has first (3) and second (4) resonator electrodes. The first (3) has a first vibration part on the front main surface and a connection part. The latter extends from the vibration part to cover the first side surface. The second resonator electrode (4) has a second vibration part on the back main surface and a second connector part extending from the second vibration part to cover the second side surface. The component also has a capacitor element (10) with a dielectric plate with front and back main surfaces. It has a first (12) and a second (13) capacitor electrode on each end of the front main surface. It also has a third electrode (14) on the back surface. A length of the dielectric plate extends from the first to the second capacitor electrode and is longer than a length of the piezoelectric substrate extending from the first to the second side surface. Adhesive material fastens the back surface of the resonator element (1) to the front surface of the capacitor element (10) with a vibration space (VS) between them such as to define first and second side steps by the ends of the capacitor element and the sides of the resonator element. Connection leads are provided to the two elements.
