CAST DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING IT

The invention relates to a process for producing a cast dental prosthesis, e.g. crown, bridge or other partial prostheses, which can be fitted on a suitably shaped natural or artificial prepared fitting section and releasably secured thereto by friction and/or securing components. The invention also relates to a corresponding cast dental prosthesis. To obtain greater accuracy in measurement it is proposed that an auxiliary mould section matching the outside dimensions of the natural or artificial prepared fitting section and made of a casting alloy be embedded in a casting mould and the dental prosthesis be cast on the auxiliary mould section and, after the casting alloy has hardened, removed from the moulding for use as a dental prosthesis.
