<p>A fuel control device (26), parts therefor and methods of making the same are provided. The control device (26) comprising a housing having a shank portion (27) for interconnecting with a spud (24) carried by a hot water tank construction (20). The shank portion (27) comprising a flange (41) fastened to the housing and a tubular part (28) secured to the flange (41) and having structure for interconnecting with the spud (24). The tubular part (28) having an end thereof swedged to the flange to secure the tubular part (28) and the flange (41) together.</p> |
