Fluid package manufacturing machine

A machine for the prodn. of packages for fluids from flat plastic sections (5) includes equipment for: (i) heating (15-17); ( ii) transporting (18,20,21); and (iii) vacuum forming (2,3,23) the flat plastic sections (5) to produce pairs of half shells (22). The heating, (15-17), transporting (18,20,21) and vacuum forming (2,3,23) equipment is followed by a stacking station (IV) and additional equipment for heating and sealing the vacuum formed shells. Both cut sections (5) and vacuum formed shells (22) are connected along a common edge (116) and surrounded by a continuous sealing flange.
