<p>The invention concerns the field of telecommunications and has particular reference to a method and device for multilingual telecommunications. The device comprises fixed call terminals (1) and a control station (2) connected to a network (3). The control station includes a first memory (13) containing recorded data representative of a plurality of possible written interrogative messages; a second memory (14) containing recorded data in the form of a plurality of spoken interrogative messages which are pronouced in second languages different from the first language containing the written interrogative messages; means (11) for displaying a written interrogative message in the first language; means (18) for generating signals to produce an electric signal representative of the words in a spoken interrogative message based on the data recorded in the second memory (14); and a central unit (10) with means (23) for controlling the display means and the signal-generating means.</p> |
