The valve seating element (20) is held firmly in the lower end section of an elongated housing (10) and is terminated with a seating (22) and an injector nozzle (23). The valve element (30) is movable axially from a lower position in contact with the seating to an upper position in abutment against a stop (11a). The distance between these positions is set by the thickness of the insert (50) between a surface (12x) of the housing and a surface (20x) of the valve seating element. The ends of this and of the housing are welded together throughout their circumference.
