Lead frame and coupling profile for plate retaining

The plates (6) retained by the lead frame etc. are made of glass, plastic, wood etc. The profile has a crossbar core with two parallel crossbar walls (4,5) with fixed spacing of their inner sides (7,9). The profile can be of H-, double U-, double T- shape etc. The plate is insertable up to max. a stop along a presettable depth in the crossbar core. The inner sides at least of one crossbar wall (4) are curved and the spacing (x) of the inner sides of the opposite crossbar walls is so changeable along the profile depth (E) that the plate can be clamped between the inner sides without play and firmly positioned.
