A plug connector between an electrical power cable and an electric power tool has a pre-assembled T-shaped insulating body of elastic material with a contact pin 41 inside it. The pin connects with the apparatus, and the cable has a lug 23 attached to the head of the pin. The pin sits in a channel 37 that is tapered by the head and contains a stopper 47. The insulating body 7 of the connector exerts a radial pressure on the stopper. The stopper has a wedge-like groove or a threaded hole on its outside surface, facing away from the apparatus, so that it can be withdrawn if necessary to get access to the head of the pin.
