The surgical instrument comprises a handle (1) consisting of two branches (2,3) each with a finger ring (2a,3a) connected to one side of a central body (4). A tube (5) is fixed to the front side of the central body, with a shaft (6) passing through the tube. By movement of the shaft within the tube, a pair of pincer jaws (7) may be operated. The tube and the shaft may be separated from each other and removed from the central body. An additional cassette unit (20) is inserted in the control line, allowing rotation of the tube and pincer jaws w.r.t. the handles, although they may be locked in any chosen position. |
