PURPOSE:To transfer record with low energy and to improve preservation stability by forming a colorant layer containing a mixture of imidazole colorant and tricyanovinyl colorant on a base film. CONSTITUTION:A colorant layer containing a mixture of imidazole azo and tricyanovinyl colorants represented by formulae I and II is provided on a base film. In the formula I, X is hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, etc. Y is hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, lower alkoxy group, halogen atom, and R<1>, R<2>, R<3> are hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group or substituted or unsubstituted allyl group. In the formula II, Z is hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, and R<4>, R<5> are hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, aryl group or substituted or unsubstituted allyl group. The ratio of both the colorants is suitably ranged by weight at 1:5-5:1. |
