A gas supply device for an air-bag comprises a bottle (1) of compressed gas sealed by a sealing arrangement comprising a tube (8) having a seat (10) which retains a first sealing ring (7) and a plug (12) which retains a second sealing ring (6). The plug (12) is retained by locking elements, preferably integrally formed fingers (14) having enlarged terminal heads (15) which engage a seat(11) formed in the interior of the tube. A further locking element preferably comprising a rod (19) initially located between the fingers retains the enlarged heads (15) in engagement with the seat. Movement of the rod (19) from its initial position releases the sealing arrangement and may be achieved by the action of a piston (17) within the tube which moves by electrical means or in response to the actuation of a pyrotechnic charge (20).
