PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform electric power control fast and effectively by merely demodulating data by a receiving station and returning the data to the transmitting station through an opposite-directional link. SOLUTION: A transmitting station 20 modulates data from a data source 24 by a modulating circuit 28 and supplies the data to a transmitting amplifier 38, so that the data are transmitted with current electric power level through a coupler splitter and an antenna 20a. This signal is received by the receiving station 22, modulated again and supplied to a transmitting amplifier 44, and returned to the reception side of the transmitting station 20 through a coupler splitter and an antenna 22a. In general, two communication directions are discriminated with the frequencies, but the data source is compared with the transmitted data after being buffered by a buffer storage device 26 because of delay made through a modulation path, a propagation path, and a demodulation path in both the directions. Then the electric power of the transmitting amplifier 38 is controlled with the output of an accumulator 36 according to a logarithmic function. |
