PURPOSE: To provide an image of high quality to a user terminal at low cost. CONSTITUTION: To provide an image of virtual/real space generated on a server 10 to many user terminals 30 through a network 20, the plotting engine 51 of the server 10 generates a background image, which is encoded by a video encoding device 52 and sent to the user terminals 30 through the network 20. Each of the user terminals 30 decodes it by a video decoding device 61, and the image is put together with a near-scene image, generated by a plotting device 35, by an image composing device 62, so that the composite image is outputted and displayed on a display unit 40. |
