<p>PURPOSE: To stably manufacture a steel sheet whose crown value is remarkably reduced by selecting a stand arranged with the rolling roll of a projecting crown or a S-curved shift, which is set to a specific amount for controlling the crown. CONSTITUTION: In this manufacturing method, the thickness distribution in the width direction of a hot rolling material whose product thickness is 3.5mm or less is uniformized (made low in crown) at a finishing rolling process constituted of a finishing mill by six or more stands of the hot rolling of a metallic material. The rolling is performed by using the rolling roll imparted with a projecting curve whose difference between the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter of the zone excluding 75mm from both edges of the rolling area (width of rolling stock) of a rolling stock to be rolled of a roll barrel length is >=60μin terms of 900mm in sheet width, is given, or the rolling roll imparted with a sine-shaped S curve so as to be movable in a roll shaft direction in respective stands 1 to 3 or 1 to 4 from the preceding stage of the finishing mill.</p> |
