<p>PURPOSE: To enable remote control easily and smoothly by using a sliding type latch. CONSTITUTION: In a remote control lid locking device, a linking lever 7 engaged with the driving pin 4a of a key cylinder 4 is mounted in a rockable manner in the periphery of a pivotal shaft 12 movably arranged in the longitudinal direction and installed to a frame 1 on the outside from the key cylinder 4 between the unlocking place and them by the key cylinder 4. A latch lever 8 with one end 8a pivotally attached near the other end 1b of the frame 1, the other end 8b engaged with the linking lever 7, and an intermediate section 8c engaged with a latch 5 is set up.
