PURPOSE: To obtain a highly reliable and inexpensive pressure detector in which the manufacturing process is simplified by preventing generation of resin flash in the resin sealing process thereby eliminating the resin flash eliminating process. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor pressure detection element 1 is mounted on a stem 8 and a signal line 10 for delivering an electric signal representative of a pressure to be detected penetrates the stem 8. The semiconductor pressure detection element 1 and the signal line 10 is surrounded by an annular stopper (resin leakage preventive means) 7 for preventing a sealing resin from flowing to an undesired part and producing a resin flash.
