PURPOSE: To enhance preservation stability represented by heat and humidity resistance by providing a thermosensitive recording layer consisting of a blend of leuco dye, a diphenylsulphone derivative and a specific sensitizer on a support to form a thermosensitive recording medium. CONSTITUTION: A thermosensitive color formation layer consisting of a blend of leuco dye, a diphenylsuphone derivative expressed by formula (R1 , R2 are a C1 to C4 alkyl group, a C2 to C4 alkenyl group, a C1 to C4 alkoxyl group, a benzyloxy group and a halogen atom; m is an integer of 0 to 2; n is an integer of 1 to 3; and p, q are an integer of 0 to 2), and a specific sensitizer on a support to form a thermosensitive recording medium. The specific sensitizer is a solid solution obtained by dissolving oxalic acid di(p-chlorbenzyl)ester and oxalic acid di(p-methylpenzyl)ester. The definite example of leuco dye is a triphenulmethane, a fluoran and a diphenylmethane compound, etc. |
