<p>PURPOSE: To prepare a thermally fusible ink which contains a wax melting at a specific temperature, a resin, a dye and amides, and has the fundamental performance as an ink such as good printing quality, clarity, dye solubility and gives bright colors optimal to jet recording. CONSTITUTION: This ink contains (A) a wax melting at 50-150 deg.C, (B) a resin, (C) a dye and (D) amides and is solid at normal temperature. As a component (D), (i) a saturated fatty acid amide, compound of formula I (for example, R4 is a saturated hydrocarbon; R5 is H, a saturated hydrocarbon), for example, palmitic acid amide, (ii) an unsaturated fatty acid amide for example, a compound of formula II [R1 is an (un)saturated hydrocarbon; R2 is H, an (un)saturated hydrocarbon; either of R1 or R2 may be unsaturated], for example, oleic acid amide are contained and the amount of the component D is pref. 1-60wt.% based on the ink.</p> |
