<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a card edge connector that fixes inserted circuit card simply and surely and can eject the circuit card easily using an operation lever. SOLUTION: Insulating housing 10 has a slot 12 in which an end part 5 of a circuit card 6 is inserted and a plurality of contacts 16. Facing walls 22 are formed aligned to the slot 12 at its one end, and a first wall 31 and a second wall 32 are formed at another end. A projection 36 is formed on the first wall 31, the circuit card 6 is depressed by a wedge shape member 40 that can freely turn to engage its engagement part 3 and projection 36 to fix the circuit card 6 to the housing 10. A leg part 64 for discharging is formed and integrated to the wedge shape member 40. Operating an operation part 50 fixes and ejects the circuit card 6.</p> |
