PURPOSE: To provide a polishing device which enables polishing operations for even workpieces of complex shapes by automatically following the complex shapes without requiring skilled operators. CONSTITUTION: This constant-pressure pressing mechanism for a polishing device includes a rotating roller 2 freely rotatably supported against a first support frame 1; a second support frame 3 against which the first support frame 1 is freely rotatably supported; a support arm 4 by which the second support frame 3 is supported in such a way as to freely move back and forth; a pressing means 5 connected to the support arm 4 to impart a specific pressing force to the support arm 4; and an endless polishing belt 6 disposed to make contact with the rotating roller 2.
