PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of works required in complicated welding, and to eliminate troublesome works by using ready-made steel pipes in construction of a composite steel pipe arch rib. CONSTITUTION: An arch rib 10 is constructed in a structure wherein assembled bodies, each made up by assembling and welding a plurality of ready-made steel pipes in the longitudinal direction of their section, are connected in a plurality of rows with transverse connecting members 15. The inside of the ready-made steel pipes 11a, 11b are filled with concrete 13. Furthermore, lining is applied with lining concrete 14 to the inside of the rib, excluding spaces 16. |
