PURPOSE: To provide the joint part structure of a weather strip which satisfies two conditions of the low cost and the excellent sealing performace. CONSTITUTION: As for a joint part structure of a weather strip for autcimobile which is constituted so that two joint parts 1 and 2 having each the same sectional surface of the weather strip are joined through abutment, both the end surfaces 1a and 2a at the above-described joint end part are closely attached, and then a one-sided adhesive tape or an attaching tape 5 is applied at least on the outer periphery of the seal part of the joint part, and the joint force is secured. |
