PURPOSE: To prepare a thermally fusible ink which contains a wax melting at a specific temperature, a resin, a dye and amides, and is improved in wettability and permeability and increased in fixing properties to recording sheets and those between dotted points. CONSTITUTION: This ink contains (A) a wax melting at 50-150 deg.C, (B) a resin, (C) a coloring material and (D) a surfactant, and is solid at normal temperature. In the component (D), a nonionic surfactant, particularly (i) a sorbitan ester type nonionic surfactant, for example, sorbitan monolaurate or (ii) an ether type nonionic surfactant, for example, polyoxyethylene oleyl ether is preferred, and further the amount of the component D is pref. 2-4wt.% based on the whole ink. |
