PURPOSE: To provide a rear bumper upper part installation structure for a vehicle which secures the strength of the upper part of a rear bumper, preventing a rear panel from being damaged, obviating the necessity of raising the position of a weather strip and without increasing the number of parts. CONSTITUTION: A rear bumper upper part installation part structure for vehicle is constituted so that at the upper edge part 24a of a rear panel 24, a weather strip 25 for sealing the part between a trunk lid 21 is installed, and on the underside of the weather strip 26 installation part of the rear panel 24, the upper end part 22a of the rear bumper 22 is installed. Accordingly, on the underside of the weather strip 25 installation part of the rear panel 24, an inclined surface part 24b is formed, and the upper end part 22a of the rear bumper 22 is extended up to the weather strip 25 installation part along the inclined surface part 24b, and the extension part 22b is installed on the inclined surface part 24b. |
