PURPOSE: To prevent the deterioration of a sound field expansion effect depending on a listening position in a acoustic reproducing device provided with a circuit to expand a sound field. CONSTITUTION: The positions of a listener 607a, the listener 607b, and the listener 607c are obtained by a controller 609 by means of a right sensor 608a fitted on a right channel speaker 606a and a left sensor 608b fitted on a left channel speaker 606b. The optimum transmission function of a filter at these positions is read out of a ROM 610, and the read out transmission function is band-divided on a frequency axis, and is mixed so that the transmission function of each band becomes equal to the transmission function at each listening position, and simultaneously, the transmission function of the band neighboring to the arbitrary band becomes the transmission function of the different position, and the transmission functions of a right crosstalk filter 602a, a left crosstalk filter 602b, a correction filter 604a and the correction filter 604b are controlled so as to be the mixed transmission function by a controller 609. |
