PURPOSE: To provide a document preparation device containing a graph preparation function which can properly add the pattern and its name of each element to the merged graph data in response to each graph form. CONSTITUTION: When a graph preparation function is pointed by the operation of a graph key 14a, a CPU 11 has an access to a document buffer 13a to calculate each rate of the list form data stored in the buffer 13a. Then the CPU 11 shifts the data of a small occupation rate to the end position to change the data array and merges these data with the data of a rate smaller than the prescribed value to produce a graph. Under such conditions, the CPU 11 decides the merged elements among those which construct the graph to successively display the patterns and names of non-merged elements in response to the graph and then to display the patterns and names of merged elements after the non-merged elements. |
